Current Project: Pinup Popup - a Popup Calendar for 2014
Pinup Popup is a calendar comprised of 13 separate cards, one for each month from January 2014 through January 2015. The cards are designed to rest on a flat surface, like a desk or table. They are made using paper engineering techniques ¬– "popup” to most of us. The pinup girls evoke the classic style of pinup’s golden era in the 1940s and 1950s. The pinups are tasteful, not nude, and (probably) safe for both work and home.
My story
I’ve always loved books. Not just the words and images they contain, but also their tactile nature. The feel of paper, the smell of ink.
